Sorry, Luke, but that is in invalid repeat, just ten posts before! (Thanks, wofa...) We are back to

CALENDAR

Note: You can check your word by clicking on "Search" (look at the top, next to "FAQ", typing your word in the drop down box, and clicking "Go". In the listing you get, check only "Wordplay and fun" topics, and only those from 2008 and 2009. :0)

Sorry, guess I don't know all the rules. Are they (probably repetitive question) printed somewhere???

OK I see they grey-colored statement: but rules too??

No rules involved, Luke. It's just that on page 90 Wofa already
had COLANDER and we risk turning round and round. So I move on from DECLARANT (not I) to
DECALVANT to offer a V

Nothing personal intended, but the disclaimer here indicates rules of some sort.
I take it words can never be repeated?
I understand the problem of turning things over and over and over again. I don't want to do that either.
Just trying to figure out the thread.
Thanks.

Sorry, I should have added a crazy smiley. I was being ironic about the rlz's. Handel is a proper name. We agreed ( did we?) on not using proper names. We talked about repetition before. If no one remembers it's never been there.( put it in a colander and let it pass through) smile

You are correct, Luke, there are rules (or roolz...) but they have been the source of some debate, mostly because they were a bit spare, so we have added a few, just for clarification. I'm not even sure if the repetition rule has ever been mentioned, but it only makes sense. The proper name issue has been discussed, mostly as it is a rule for most word games, but it has also been flagrantly ignored, as well. I think ignoring that one is less of a problem for the game than ignoring repetition. Repetition is also boring, anyway. You're doing fine, so don't stress... :0)

Whew!
Thanks a bundle. I felt I was in a holding cell awaiting
arraignment. (Just kidding.) I'll try to avoid the repitition,
and if anyone sees me doing it, please let me know.
