Does anyone know if there is a term for a word that has two different pronunciations and two different meanings yet each with the same spelling? Is there a “list” of these words?
Examples:
advocate (verb to plead & noun the one pleading)
convert (action of converting & the person converted)
invalid (not valid & one that is sick)
lead etc.
live
refuse
tear
wound
