The creative brilliance of people here never ceases to amaze me! Although I think it's probably g) or e), I just have to vote for D) because of its sheer creative audacity!

I've been turning this over and over... reaching back to my college days of linguistics, Old English, and Old Norse. I'm going to go with i) even though the definition seems too specific.

Thinking out loud:
c) A curved Malaysian knife.
He carved a beautiful male figure using an old nisgul given to him by his great grandfather.

j) type of stitch used in Shetland needlework

The nisgul stitch makes a tight weave for this kind of yarn.

l) Distastefully bland (This one made me laugh!)
I had the most NOT nisgul meal this evening!

They are all really good but gonna go with C

So, would a NOT nisgul meal be tastefully bland? Or distastefully spicy?

So, would a NOT nisgul meal be tastefully bland? Or distastefully spicy? Hah, hah! I guess I was thinking scrumptiously, mouthwateringly tasty and delicious!

That's not "nisgul" but "nil gus"tatory - no taste! (Which I would guess is what drew the Author to that daffynition in the first place.)

Nisgul is hatching ideas of returning into hibernation, which it usually does not come out of after winter solstice.Patience is not its most outstanding quality. I promised to pass the summons. Who has not made up his/her mind by now is suspected to have none. Who has been too busy or forgetful will have time till the midnight moon.
I think of Capital Captain Kiwi, astute Father Steve, insidious inselpeter and the Jolly Jackie.
