The Roolz are:
You may 1) add a letter OR 2) remove a letter OR 3) change a letter
AND THEN 4) scramble the new set of letters into a new word.
Thus: MALAISE drop the E MISSAL

Quite right. Sorry 'bout that. Couldn't see straight; too much snow. Will the Chair permit me to amend the motion?
MALAISE drop an A MESIAL (at least, that's what my dentist says)

Melisma is a musical term for singing many notes on one syllable. An example would be chant or "Amen".

MELISMA - think of the word "purify" in "And He Shall Purify" from Handel's Messiah, or the word "born" from "For Unto Us a Child is Born," or "easy" in "His Yoke is Easy," or "turned" from "All We, Like Sheep."
MELISMA change an M to an R and get REALISM

Never knew this music term existed. Looked up the Dutch word. Quite SIMULAR (E change to U); melisme. (from Greek)
