If you change the pronunciation slightly, you'll come up with McCain.

That's quite a stretch from Meek to Mac and Cain to Ken.

This one seems to have more to do with Florida congressman Ken Meek.

It is definitely a stretch. I think Anu was having fun. Obviously, no one saw it coming (see Faldage's link in Obambulate).
