Is there a word that describes a person who is honorable, yet funny-bone tickling humourous? This describes my loving father.

Thanks.

This construction, X, yet Y, implies to me a disconnect of some sort between X and Y. I don't see any disconnect between honorable and humorous.

Hi, Andy, and welcome. I could be wrong, but I don't think there is one word that combines these two traits. The closest I know of is seriocomic, which means partly serious and partly comic (from yourdictionary.com), which as you can see doesn't fit the bill.
