It might just be that the new blogging software they are using defaults to allowing comments and that they have turned it off.

Okay, okay, I admit that technically the answer should refer to the adjective and not the noun.  (Trying to think of a loophole...) Unless of course AI stands for Artificially Intelligent... which is what Artificial Intelligence is.
