speaking of helen's dislexia (and weren't we just), the thread that brought that up also introduced the word fefnicute, for which I've now found a citation. - joe (I wonder if the OED would want this) friday edit: corrected spelling!!

The name of the book from which the quote comes reminded me of a great little sequence from Fawlty Towers in which the Major was carefully explaining which derogatory epithets went with which non-white ethnicities. Sadly, I couldn't find it on youtube.
