Another site of this kind which I however don't believe protocol allows me to mention but whose chief is Phil, came back on this morning after housekeeping but due to my advanced age and current state of mental decay, owing to its new setup and after spending about an hour attempting to navigate it, I am hoping that if a fellow participant who uses it also but who is more skilful at this sort of thing than I, could kindly forward this message to Phil I would be most indebted indeed:

Forgive me Phil for this unusual way to gain access to (site name deleted) and thank you for your most prodigious efforts on our behalf but as you must know in my 78th year and rapidly developing senility if not Alzheimer's as well as my limited ability in Bill Gates' World, I was unable to post this query at what is your otherwise excellent and I am sure much improved board:

(1) Unlike many other Internet boards there does not appear to be a Contact us function through which one might otherwise be able to determine what he's doing wrong (we call this, as you probably know, a "Catch 22"), so unable to submit a new post and hence this roundabout means

(2) However, I did successfully re-register, reestablish my new password, and log in, but once having accomplished this when I attempt a new post I am returned to the log-in window. When I attempt the second time to log in, I am again returned to the same window

(3) In the new setup there appears to be no Comments and Suggestions on the Site forum, I believe it was called before the latest housekeeping, which is where I had intended to place this post

(4) Finally here's a very minor gripe or oversight which although not terribly serious you might wish to address before the next housekeeping: There's an easy link to get you from Clubhouse to View active topics but none to get you back to the Clubhouse. Instead it's first necessary to return to Home Page, where's a Clubhouse link; but even then when you click on that, there comes a dropdown from which you have to select Clubhouse Home

While that doesn't seem to be much of an imposition from the viewpoint of the PC expert, many (especially the busy or the infirm [me]) may resent the requirement for the extra keystrokes, especially those of us whose tendency is to forget the routine from visit to visit and who tend to often inadvertently hit on the wrong link

But Phil please do not consider this posting as a serious criticism, only an observation by an old friend in effect merely attempting to excusing his one of his major shortcomings. Over the years you have been extremely patient with me, moreso than any other site I have attended, including this one (second site name deleted), which is nonetheless one of the two most liberal of its kind

Hope to see you again soon when I get back on my feet. Though in the introductory paragraph I was exaggerating a little bit, in fact I do occasionally suffer a memory lapse, happening to me again just (I think it was) yesterday, when--and I'm still not joking, honestly-- It's not terribly serious as it takes me several days to fully recuperate

Perhaps it's that I have not recovered fully enough to skilfully navigate a new algorithm though I'm nevertheless sure you will find some of the above at least a bit useful. Thank you again for (first site ID deleted), for your infinite patience, and all your recent work on our behalf

And thank you too, whomever you may be, who forwards this message
