Hello,

My family is updating our coat of arms/family crest, and we've never had a quote or motto except on our Scottish side. Is there anyone here relatively fluent in Latin? I already got a translation from someone else, but I wanted a second opinion just in case.

"Everything should be taken in moderation, including moderation."

He/she came up with:

"Omnia moderate accipiendum, sic item moderatio."

Is this pretty close? I know translations aren't perfect, but as long as you can get the general meaning.

Thanks,

oP
