My 7 1/2 year old granddaughter has shown an exciting (to me) interest in words - their origins and nuances - and I'd like to nurture that interest, but Anu Garg's books are a bit heavy for kids that age. Can anyone suggest an age-appropriate book that will help keep her interested?

A librarian friend of mine suggests In A Word for grades 5-9. There's a Frog in My throat is a little younger age group, but still a really fun read.
