South Africa is experiencing increasing power black outs; Insufficient maintenance, a growing GDP and insufficient planning are the culprits. However, the national power utility (Eskom) refers to these power outages as "load shedding" and not black outs. We are convinced that Eskom is now one of the few companies in the world that advertises for users not to use their service. Ironic.
In the US we call these "rolling blackouts."
Edit: typo

The simultaneously most incomprehensible and most sensible reaction to a simple typo of 2007. Congrats, Milo. You'll go down in the annals.

This might be an interesting way to be ON the grid. What a golden opportunity!
