.......Rule, squaring the rule from the act, and not the act from the rule; like correcting a sun-dial by a clock, and not the clock by the sun-dial. A specious excuse for doing, or not doing, as inclination dictates.

Validation Rule receives 1/2 vote.........for courage of first post. But, one must be logically sound in order to validate.
This rule is beyond logic. This rule exemplifies the muster it takes to win the Florida State College of voters.

A post facto law. Making an act the precedent for a rule of conduct, instead of squaring conduct according to law.

I suppose what you're looking for, though, is "The Lesbian Rule" - probably for some frisson of emotion.
