bean, that's the 4th Thursday in Nov., not Nov. 4th

This is indeed the date of Thanksgiving Day in USA.
But, I have a hazy memory that at one time that Thanksgiving was the third Thursday in November and an equally hazy memory that President Franklin D. Roosevelt was the one who changed the date in the late 19303 or early 1940s. Does anyone remember this (WWH ?) Or is my long term memory going too?
