A Type-3 for which the Visual Thesaurus gives only one synonym, "varied," though I would have included "diverse"
Laverne and I disagree on "varied," which I would place at 2 while she at 1. For instance, in my 76 years I don't believe I've ever heard it in everyday conversation, as "They had varied reactions to his suggestion." More likely in this usage you'd find the Type-1 "different" or even "various"

Obviously you and Laverne turn in more sophisticated circles than I. But of course that's ok

I am so glad to find that I'm not alone in getting lost in my Random House unabridged. It happens nearly every time and often I become so distracted I can't remember what I was looking for in the first place. It's really embarrassing.
Anymore I don't use mine that often, partly because it's so heavy
