Gotta be E. Consider: how do you put a round dome onto a square building? You just take it and squinch it into place!

I don't see how you could squinch anything into the difference between D and K, so I'll split the difference and vote (no wait, that leaves me at G and a half) OK, M.

C sounds too much like a *play on "winch".
D sounds like a *play on "squeeze".
I'll vote for "N" which sounds like a play on "squint".

Onlooker's choice:
To be honest, if I would not have looked it up in the dictionary which makes me know now it is X , I would have chosen B . So Be it.

The technical nature of Aramis cannot resist B. It must B B.

I know, there is no such things as a stupid question (unless it's really stupid) but, can I vote if I did not submit? Well, I'm going to anyway,
  Mmmmmm...
  that didn't hurt.

Sure, anyone can vote. Back when we kept some kind of score some hogmasters counted submitters' votes more than non-submitters' but there's never been a prohibition on non-submitters voting.

While posters (spit) are shiftless and no-count. A bad lot who rob the jail of tenants and feed at the public trough.

Go ahead ! Go ahead ! the Milum! Enjoy yourself! Make it attractive for the shy and the hesitating. : Fantastic policy!

Now, now, BranShe. You wouldn't want a passel of new posters who didn't understand the subtleties of humor, now would you? (Mmm? "passel of new posters" That's good, Milo. That's very, very good.

Oh , my... a wordtest as well! passel: (regional) large group or amount: a fairly large group or amount. Now that I've sorted this out with the help of the one-look friend , do you think I could still join the next time? I mean the cream of the cream?

Milo, you old Christmas turkey, you.
In the context of this discussion, a poster is anyone who makes a post to any thread on this board. A submitter is someone who submits a daffynition for the Hogwash® word.

That's right. And I don't want to take this to the limit, but is there any confirmed relation between beeing shy and hesitating and having lack of humor?

there is a distinction between submitters and posters? You bet there is: a poster is a large piece of paper that you put up on your wall. Thanks, A, for giving me the opportunity to air my grievance once again! :-)

Well, sorry about nagging on over something not that serious. How many days does this voting last? I really read those rules over a few times , but I did not find the answer. Anyone would/could tell, thanks a lot?

See how it is here? That 'poster' thing was really just an amusing little drop of rain to tease Jackie's hair with, that became a deluge. ..

Just happens to be a minor pet peeve of mine; I posted early on that I flatly refuse to call a person a poster. Though I realize I'm fighting the current; I incurred the wrath and derision of my entire Sunday School class last week when I pointed out that the book had "it's", where the term was possessive. [gnashing my teeth all over again at the thought e] Just call me stickler...

I really like D, but it's too close to K for voting comfort... ergo, I'll go to E which is not only plausible but also something there *must* be a word for.
