Arte Johnson - named for the actor on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in, a comedy show from the '70s. He played the dirty old man and the german soldier, but the one that earned him his eponym is the one in which he rode a tricycle while wearing a raincoat and would run into something and fall over. Many cyclists call a crash, especially a single vehicle one, an Arte Johnson.
It is especially suitable for those, like me, who are well into our second childhoods and have gone back to riding trikes.

Funny. The most memorable character (for me) that Arte Johnson portrayed was "The Dirty Old Man" with Ruth Buzzy as his Nemesis!
