OP Thanks Tsuwm, I did not know it was an archaic word. It has all the reasons to stay so. Funny to think though that there are archaic words that are pleasing as well as those that are really out of date.Dylan Thomas, I read Under Milkwood, but never sorted out that single word from all the baroque flow of words he uses. He uses it in a way it seems to fit in somehow. But in today's day to day language it's hopeless.
