Ok, Gallant Ted and Faldage, if you two promise that you are confused then I'll explain what Wofdoc has said about language and math.

Wofdoc said that mathemetical calculations are very much a language that we use to describe the World around us.
And like the language of words the language of mathematics can be constructed to investigate the most hypothetical of events.

But sadly, darn it, except for the most rudimentary of procedures, the more hypothetical the goal the more manipulations of symbols and numbers are necessary to obtain a congruency of sorts.


Even so oft times this congruency, no matter how contrived, is offered as a "proof".

But the math we use today didn't originate the Universe.
