However, I question this usage because some of them use only a single handle. It is light, playful, the antithesis of grave. But, 'login' simply makes no sense. To 'slide on' seems more appropriate to indicate the 'sockpuppet' is preparing to begin (perform). I have never heard login used for sockpuppet, specifically. we all have logins, and some have sockpuppets. a rectangle is not a square. (thanks, ASp!)
