You get to be an apprentice geezer at age 50 if you join AARP right away. If you don't join AARP you automatically became an apprentice geezer at 55. Journeyman geezerhood strikes at 60 and full geezerhood, AKA Master Geezer, at 65.
I am but a lowly apprentice geezer.
