Not a word-post by the remotest stretch of imagination. However:
I had a technical issue I wanted to explore with Symantec, maker of much computer utility and virus-protection software. I found that
a) where they used to have a large number of user discussion groups, this service has recently been discontinued, and
b) one of the contributors has decided to start his own board to take over the functions no longer being offered by the commercial site.
Just in case this might be of value to someone else on this Board, the new address is
www.boardfish.com/default.asp
and this in no way constitutes a genuine response to your helpful post, as I read your subject line as "Greek warning".
Ucalegon!!

I too read this thread title as Greek warning. Getting back on-topic, a geek whose opinion I value highly gave a warning which has stuck with me for more than five years. Norton (now Symantec) has no customers, only victims.
And I, an unwilling victim, am a victim of the tech that serviced my computer and supplied me with this curse. It ends in April and I don't know if I'll ever get another smooth running antivirus system like I had prior to this.
I *think* Norton has been getting a bad rap among users, lately, which might explain it.
