I notice Americans use Q-ball as appellation for other people (which they like? or don't like? I'm not sure). Anyone know what does it mean? where did it came from?
I found a lot of referrences for Q-ball online, but none of them concerns my case.

I believe it's actually cue-ball, as in billiards. the cue ball is white(!), and because of it's blankness, is used for someone who is clueless. my take, anyway...

Aha! it all adds up then.
See, I noticed "cue-ball" was used by a black man on a white man (anyone watched "Sliders"?). Which makes sense.
I also saw this appellation used by a white man on another white man, however as a reference to his baldness. Makes sense too!
Home run! Thanks!

I've only seen this used as a reference to bald men - commonly, extraordinarily handsome and virile ones.

Searching slang sites yields many hits for "cue ball" meaning the glans. However, as they're all copied from a single source I don't place much credibility in the idea that this usage is very widespread

extraordinarily handsome and virile Gee, Keith, are we to deduce from this that you have a full head of hair?
