No, no--the Dalai Llama...

[wishing there was a weary sigh emoticon]
On those rare occasions when I pun, I try to rely on the auditory effect, rather than resort to mispelling the word, which I've always regarded as the blunt instrument approach to punning. That's why I did not resort to the crudely obvious Llama.

this title deliberately left blank

I did, after all, borrow tsuwm's 'o' title for a reason.

People taking it upon themselves to try to "improve" my attempts at humour will always push my buttons.

Now I need a grateful bow emoticon.

try to "improve" my attempts at humour Ah--now I understand. I suppose I was, but only for myself: for me, the visual humor of Dalai Llama when talking about alpacas is funnier than the auditory kind. I am sorry I stepped on your toes.
Edit: also, it was foolish and thoughtless of me to assume that others might think the same way I do.

tsuwm: I don't know what a Red Card is. Enlighten me, please? Maybe by PM; judging by the tone of your post, it must be something horrible...

well then, what did you think that icon represents??

(In futbol red cards (or yellow cards) are 'given' to blatant (or semi-blatant) rules transgressors; I believe a red card or two yellows during a game warrants dismissal.)

what did you think that icon represents?? Someone being hauled up by the ear for committing a transgression. And I wasn't flashing it to anyone--it was intended to represent me, just as means I am delighted that we are finally getting some cold weather.
