psst.. mav.. consider (speaking of hideous debaucheries), this may be someone who, when he does drink beer, drinks mass-produced USn beer. and then there's lime optional dos whatsis.

In Mexico it's a good idea. Lime juice is antibacterial. I think I'd rather get the bacteria myself...
A few decent Mexican beers are Bohemia, Negro Modelo and De Leon. I wouldn't want to get any lime juice in them, but if you are going to drink Corona or Tecate you deserve the limes

I never had a beer served me with lime in Mexico.
  Negro is Anheuser.
  Corona rhymes with miss.

I saw it often enough in the ten years I lived there. Negro Modelo was bought out by Anheuser Bush??? That's NAFTA for you, I guess.

tsu: Don't give up on the U.S. Many of our craft brews that have emerged during the past few decades are excellent. Eg, try Sam Adms and Lagunistas
The rest, though, I'd have to agree, rank as pedestrian

dh: I believe I specified "mass-produced". you should try Summit Pale Ale, if you're ever in the Twin Cities to see the Museum of Questionable Medical Devices.

Con: I'm deeply impressed by your judgment about brews. Bohemia and Negro Modelo are indeed two of the very finest. I shall be on the lookout for DeLeon
tsu: Also shall be alert for summit
As to the lime: no, I'm a purist Actually, a snob

dale.... next time your in Chitowne stop in at Goose Island Brewery... and you better inform me to cross the street and join you when you do!
  ********
I appreciate consuelo's practical "anti-bacterial" justification as I find most things lime-flavored to my liking... but it's hard enough getting beer-flavored beer.

Yah, yer right. It's been a long time since I've seen one. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. León is actually the brand name I meant, not De León. It is brewed in the Yucatan, IIRC, by Cía. Cervecera del Trópico, a subsidiary of Grupo ModeloIt is a dark Munich style beer. Drink a couple of bottles and none of the nitpicking matters anymore

consuelo, not so. Evidently there is some sort of stringent rule about the use of the term "algorithm"
But I'm looking for a suitable synonym for future followups

Well, it *is* a defined term:
l·go·rithm P Pronunciation Key (lg-rthm) n. A step-by-step problem-solving procedure, especially an established, recursive computational procedure for solving a problem in a finite number of steps.
