Every time I sign on, the index indicates that the thread "'manned/unmanned' and gender neutralisation" in Miscellany has a new post. And every time I click to open it, it opens to the first post, not to the newest, and there are no new posts at the end. I think its switch is stuck.

Seid stille, und erkenne dass es gestufft ist. I have done this, and now go into "My home" and "mark all read" each time I finish here.

I just went to that thread, Father Steve, and I didn't see a "new" marker, so something is definitely "up", somewhere. Speaking of threads with peculiarities--the only way, still, to see the Hogwash rules is by clicking Next from the top thread in W&F. [shrug]

well, I do as max does, and mark read before I leave the board, but it seems as if Anu hasn't been around and had the time to deal with the bugs yet.
