It's no longer clear how to send PM. I can still do it by going into the recipient's Profile, but I don't see a "check/send mail" function here with the posts - is there something like that here I haven't noticed?

no, you have to do it through the Profile, or you can also add them to your address book, and do it through your user page.

So far I've received hogwash entries from Father Steve, belMarduk, and tsuwm

Uh-oh, I notice that the HOGWASH rules are no longer pasted at the top of the section. Jackie, can you stick it there so the new members know how to play. It'll be fun to get them involved in the game.

Jackie indicated in another thread that she's having problems doing just that, Bel. they's all working on it.

Yes, if you click Next from this thread*, you get to it. But it's not in the list!
*Er, as of my typing, this thread was at the top of the list. Not sure what will happen to the rules when this one moves.

EDIT: apparently you have to click Next from whichever thread is at the top of the list.

I've written to Anu about it. I suppose I could ask tsuwm to just copy the rules and start a whole new thread, but gosh darn it, this is a mystery and I'd like it solved, if possible!

Add max and marianna to the list of entrants, making 5 altogether. Have we lost any hogwashers in the move or is this a word that in fact everyone except me uses every day?

perhaps some have gone to the sidelines until the Kinks have been worked out of the new software. OTOH, this sort of exercise should help wring out more bugs.
