While teaching a Judicial Colloquium at the Fall Judicial Conference last Monday, I asked the judges in my class to identify themselves by saying (1) their name, (2) in what court they serve, (3) why they signed up for the colloquium and (4) something that a pirate would say. They indulged me and NOT ONE if those learned jurists knew that Monday was Talk Like a Pirate Day. I handed out copies of the Dave Barry column in which all is revealed. Aaaaaargh.
