I can't believe I forgot to tell you all about this until today! I'm part of a team (of six) that's trying to set the world record for Longest Time Spent Reading Aloud. If you're interested in this celebration of words, check out our blog at http://www.livejournal.com/community/mcarecordread.

Too cool! This sounds like a story for NPR. Where is it taking place?

Not when, where?!

I'll send a note to the NPR mother ship. Take care of your voice.

Good luck Gonold.

I have to admit that I wouldn't be able to last but a few minutes. I may be able to hold conferences, talk in front of huge crowd, make presentations and such, but if I have to read directly from a page, word for word exactly, I tend to get dry mouth and flub it.
