Rich people living in Beverly Hills like to fill their homes with expensive works of art. A formerly-unknown breed of rodent appeared in Beverly Hills with a taste for old paints and destroyed millions of dollars worth of paintings by gnawing on them. The head of the motion picture and television actors union discovered that these rodents could be stopped by spreading sticky tar (the same stuff that stopped the dinosaurs at LaBrea) on the floors of members' mansions. And the headline in the Los Angeles Times read: "Star Tsar Tars Arts Rats."
