Remember that this thread discussed a possible millennium bug, and it was shanks' introduction of a rogue zero which allowed him to stick to his claim that the last millennium ended when 1999 did. The only thing left is to work out what punishment will truly fit the crime. Perhaps, given his liberal bent, exiling him to the newly re-conservatised USA would be a suitably severe sanction.
