"Escaped with the skin of my teeth" is a literal translation of the Hebrew. But its meaning is a pun on a very similar sounding phrase meaning "with great difficulty or barely." Really? Coo-ool! Thanks, Father Steve.

In Hebrew, Job said B'3or SHiNai = skin of my teeth, a pun on the Hebrew word B'QoSHi = barely, with difficulty.
