To all the Members :
My very best wishes to you all for a happy and healthy New Year 2001.
I am sending this early as the weather people are saying we in the NorthEast are going to get hit with a storm bringing up to a foot of snow and sleet to boot!
So, in case we have power failure and you don't hear from the NorthEasterly folk for awhile
....(I heard that) .... Have a joyous New Year!!!
You Aussies and NZ folk as you bask in the sun .... send warm thoughts to us as we huddle around the candle for light and warmth, up to our tukises in snow !
Blessings on you all

Oh Wow, now don't be tempting the goddesses of fate by mentioning sleet and power failures at this time of the year. Remember the Ice Storm of ’98. In Québec, over three million people (we are a mere seven million so that was nearly 50% of our population) were stuck without power, heat, or water for weeks – this in temperatures ranging around 20 C below zero.
