from Dr. Bill [wwh]: Way back in the forties the standard pre-op enema bore trade name FLEET. Patients claimed it means powerful enough to move the whole fleet.
Note: I am posting this little joke with Dr. Bill's OK because it has a peripheral connection to "Fleet Street". Newspapers also have the runs, and some of the tabloids specialize in the sort of trash which some dismiss enematically with a 4-letter word associated with the runs.
