and a second thank you for the diamond shape window panes defination.. i have a stained glass window (24 X36 (inches ) or so panel --made up of 6 'tiles' (each 12X12) with a center piece (3 rectangles, 3 disks) of painted, decorated glass, and a border of diamond shaped peices. it had been a functioning window in my house, i removed it when i moved, and my intention (as yet unrealized) it to have it framed in a deep box, and to place electic lights behind it, to illuminate the the design.
i didn't know the diamond shapes had a specific name.
i removed the stained glass panal because i had constructed it, and i didn't want to leave it behind.
It didn't open but was positioned on south facing wall of the house, and illuminated the room it was in.
