tsuwm, you're referenced there a lot. In fact, some here on AWAD are referenced there from some of our more esoteric language discussions.

It's a good site.

Cool. Of course, as soon as I saw the Search window I couldn't think of a thing I wanted to look up; finally I tried your word, esoteric. It gave me this unusually-named drink, among other things:
Esoteric Solipsist

The esoteric solipsist is a cocktail consisting of equal parts Fernet Branca, Pernod, Italian grappa, and tequila.

What interested me about this post was that it led to my discovering an unusually high traffic in this forum. I knew that wordiq had been mentioned here before, by etaoin, and I went looking for it. Despite the fact that the first mention of wordiq was as recent as August 2004, that thread has already been pushed off the front page in I & A. Back in the good old days, threads would remain in I & A as if they were in stasis. The times they are a-changin'.

Sorry about the repetition, et', and thanks, Max, for the observation. Obviously, I'd missed et's thread. Still, wordiq.com is a good site for checking definitions. I haven't come across it on onelook.com, but I also hadn't been looking for it there.

it's yet another variation on search engines, is it not?

I'd expect it to come up with results similar to taking the google link from within onelook. (an option limited by +dictionary +lexicon etc.)
