Arnold Rothstein Who is that, please?

Arnold Rothstein was a famous gangster who taught the likes of Meyer Lansky and Lucky Luciano that organized crime was a business and that ethnic rivalries should be checked at the boardroom doors like revolvers and tommy guns. Mr Rothstein fixed the 1919 world series which involved a team called the White Sox (though it became known as the Black Sox Scandal) against the Cincinnati Reds. The "Black Sox" threw the game, though they were the favorites. Lots of money changed hands. More on Wikipedia:
