Not famous really--but familiar to Bradbury, uh, scholars, I suppose. I thought that Bradbury is so much part of the mainstream that the phrase might ring a bell. It's a quote from Juan Ramon Jimenez that Bradbury quotes as the opening quote into Farenheit 451--so please forgive my crediting that quote with fame.
