Beer bong like the other kind of bong, I reckon.

Well, no. A bong (< Thai baung) is a water pipe (kinda like a hookah) for smoking marihuana. A beer bong is basically a funnel attached to a long flexible hose used for the rapid imbibing of beer. (Pretty much like the turtle is holding in the comic strip.) OTOH, I seem to remember certain of my friends using some admixture of alcohol in their bongs. Seemed dangerous to me at the time, but ...
