I saw a car recently that had about six bumper stickers spread out all over the back that all urged people to become organ donors. The funny part came when I noticed the sticker nestled in the midst of them all that read "I brake for cemetaries"

Another semi-serious note, this time a billboard erected by the City of Baltimore on a very grungy street in a terrible neighborhood. On the left side, picture of a baby. The text, "A baby costs $785 a month. What's your allowance?"

An 'allowance' for me, when I was a kid in the 60's, was a dime. Then it became a quarter somewhere around 6th grade... and a dollar when I entered high school. It didn't take long for me to go find a high school job.

I was thinking along the lines of "family allowance." That's money that is sent to low-income families here.
