Oh, okay, I'll bite. I vote for K if only because I admire the number of multisyllable words whoever made it up used!

this word looks Indian.. or Scottish! so that leaves me with H or L (throwing out the city name -- that would be simply too mean). H or L.

following Occam once again, I'll go with L

I echo your greeting to Glinda, Musick!

But on a more practical note...I'm not sure whether you're voting for red I or yellow G ?

So I'll register that as one vote for the Inspector General?

But seriously, folks. Yeh only gets to pick one.

Aye, aye, Sir, I it is!

"The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle,
But the flagon with the dragon has the brew that is true."

(--I know that's from Knock on Wood,
but I can't think of any lines from
The Inspector General...)

I was thinking of M, but then I thought: what differentiates an oolly polar bear pelt from a non-oolly polar bear pelt? Are all polar bear pelts oolly, so that to call something oolly is in fact to say that it is a polar bear pelt?

I cannot live with this level of uncertainty, so I'll go with C.

"The pellet with the poison's in the chalice with the palace.
The vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!"

You're right. Court Jester it is.

Grommitch! (That's the line from Knock On Wood. I think!)

OK then. Oolly was the name of the Head football coach for the Traverse City Trojans. Oh, wait, that was spelled Ooley. I'm on the stoney ground. Haven't been here in a while ...

I think I have most of us tallied, but - did I miss belMarduk and dxb and Rhubarb Commando? Plus of course anyone else who wants to cast an aspersion. Or whatever. Anybody maybe edit a post and edit out the vote?

Well, a litter of thirteen, and they all seem equally unlikely. So, the hint given seems to narrow it down to two. One of those is my own offering, which leaves me with H. I can't believe it can be correct. Still, H it must be.

Hint? I gave a hint? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Maybe it was a Freudian slip! Use it at your peril.

When I read the list I liked C, but so did everyone else. And I can't bear to think of giving all those points to one person, so I am gonna vote for F.
