Yea! I've found a place to play with words! Thanks for being here. Don't you love it when a pompous, pretentious person tries (and fails) to impress? The 'word' used really is perfect for what he was saying: ex: That person is so voicetrous.

Welcome amnow. You won't find much in the way of pompous, pretentious person(s) here but you will find great puns, intelligent observations and plain old fun here. I like voicetrous - will be interested to find out if it is a coined word or whether one of the AWAD folk will refer to some ancient text and come up with a case of its being used in 1602!
Again, welcome - and Happy Fourth of July weekend.

Nice word, amnow, and welcome!

Hope you don't mind my curiosity: what were you then?

I was younger than I am now. Is that what you want to know?

Just have finished my 3rd cup of coffee, and I 'get it'.
Had never seen that question coming! Thanks for the welcomes, I'm ready for fun, fellowship, puns, and pleasures.
