It occurred to me (in a totally irrelevant context) that, if reify is a word composed entirely of affixes, then so is deify. Any comments? Any other words like that?

The re in reify is from Latin res 'thing' and the de in deify is from deus 'god'. There are homonymous prepositions, too. (Of course, I could be missing a joke here as I am wont to do.) Better to think of bus made up as it is of one half of a suffix. Or ism.
