I spell it P-A-L-A-K P-A-N-E-E-R.

Absent from that site, but I'm tempted to ask Vidhu if she can post a simple recipe for it.

I find that I haven't a clue about many of the indredients, such as "A pinch of tandoori colour". As to "250 grams capsicum cut into 1" square pieces"--I think of capsicum as the primary ingredient in mace, the defensive spray. Apparently the recipe refers to actual peppers, but this amount of some varieties would render the product inedible. Having found out last summer what chapati is, and reading in one recipe about speading chili sauce on one, I got tickled thinking of a "chipotle chapati"!

>A gift delivered in Bangalore.

Which is where a long-absent member of this board, Avy, is from, although she may now be in Mumbai.
