Dear etaoin: speaking of caves, I wonder what our speleologist, milum, is up to these days.
When I got down to "claustrophobia" I was reminded of story in TIME early in WWII. In a survey of London, a questionnaire had to be filled out for each person in every
air-raid shelter district. One district had 100% of women
claiming they suffered from claustrophobia. When questioned,
the interviewer for that district said she had toled all the women that 'claustrophobia' meant "fear of confinement".

Dear AS: mustn't be finicky. Remember all the beetles who
roll their little ball....
And remember every drop of water has been through a billion
billion anal orifices...

Neat, eta! Here's somebody's favorite word, WW I think; read the second word of the def. carefully!
MEANDER An arcuate curve in a river course due to a stream eroding sideways.

[Sorry if I just wide screened you - could never work out that 'make a shorter link' thingie]

One often hears of 'kettle and karst' terrains. YCLIU.
