It really IS the end of the world as we know it! I have been a loyal Gooner for over 20 years now, and, like all true Gooners, expect my Arsenal to distinguish themselves with spectacularly consistent failure in European competition. Imagine my horror, then, when Arsenal today broke a drought of over 14 months by winning away, at Inter Milan, by the unbelievable score of 5-1! 'Tis an abomination against the laws of nature (one poll on the Arsenal website shoewd 67% of Gooners expected Arsenal to be knoecked out in the first round), and thus must surely signal the event predicted by our padre.
