This is one of the "best" examples of Japlish (I think it has too much Nihon to be called Engrish) I have ever seen.

See, mav., I know I can rely on you. That phrase was the first one that caught my eye, for exactly the same reason, but my unmatched humility, and unparalleled modesty, prevented me from mentioning it. It didn't matter, because my Yinfidel other half overcame my own innate Yangst.

Hrmph. I was re-reading one of my Dick Francis books over the weekend, and HE used "disorientated"! How could he!! [wail] It was neat, though, because he talked about a hotel that was a remodeled country house in the Lake District, that could very well have been the one I stayed in, and about seeing among other things, Beatrix Potter's house--which I did! It is so cool, being able to truly visualize things! And, and, my son and I went to a movie today (he was off school), and one of the previews was for "Calendar Girls", a true story that takes place in Yorkshire. I shall make sure I see it!
