today I'm having a major run on the word clodpate. I don't find it via GoogleŽ in the News or (recently) in Groups, so I can't figure what the driver is.

these runs always intrigue me, but I often never learn the source. last week (and continuing) it was plangonologist (collector of dolls), which seemed to relate to arctophile (lover/collector of teddy bears!) being in the news (I have arctophilist, so I wasn't getting many hits on that.)
