Many of the clergy in the Diocese of Olympia (the Episcopal Church in Western Washington) are graduates of Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, California. The Rev. Dr. Louis Weil was professor there for an aeon and, according to one correspondent, loved and used this phrase repeatedly. Perhaps he is the font from which its currency among Anglican clergy in Western Washington springs. Do I win a Pulitzer or an honorary doctorate for discovering this?
