Max, mea maxima culpa. I was applying prescriptionist pressure when there was no reason. My point *was that "inflection" refers to the particles (endings,etc) added to words to indicate their grammatical position (as discussed in another thread). But in the context you used, it's perfectly OK and intelligible (as is your voice), in my book, whatever it's now worth. :)
